About me
I was born and raised in Medellin, Colombia. I am very proud of the land in which I was raised in for a number of reasons. Colombia is well known for the coffee, the best in the world, its stunning flowers and landscape. It is also known for its oil, wine and gorgeous emeralds. I decided to move to the United States of America, in July 1997 after reviewing different options from countries like England, Germany, and Spain. I became an American Citizen in 2005 and currently reside in the borough of Queens, NY. (I am A New Yorker.)
I was a volunteer at the United Nation in Colombia for the UNICEF as an international trainer. I have experience traveling around the world to different countries with the World Organization of the Scouts Movement, teaching methods and techniques for the new youth and leaders, helping children and youth establish healthy mentalities towards family culture, socializing, and education.
As Alumni from University of Phoenix since February 2012 (BSM / MBA-GM), I am working in having a better job opportunities, as well "thinking Ahead" in new educational experiences, keep growing as individual into a team environment, and continue supporting the "Mentor" and "Scholarship" program as Mentor and Juror, also as Former President of the New Jersey / Metro New York Alumni Chapter.
